I can hardly believe I have no cards to make for the month of August....at least for now. We are expecting the birth of our third grandchild any day now and it will be such a treat to celebrate a brithday in August! At the moment our family birthdays are mostly clustered in April. So with a baby theme in mind I am posting my favorite g0-to baby card. I am fortunate to have a stamp store near me and whenever in need I can just run in for ideas and stamps. Needless to say they love to see me coming as I spend lots. These cards turn out to be VERY expensive but lots of fun to do.
The center carriage square is raised with dimensionals and the dotted square around the carriage is embossed. The carriage was stamped in black and then I colored the basket weave with a soft pink marker. I used pink pearls in the hub of the wheel.
I love this card and have made it for welcoming baby boys as well, using blue papers.
